Rosneft Metalway is an oil developed for use in plain slideways and slideway bearings of machine tools, as well as in hydraulic systems. It is produced based on highly refined mineral base oils and a multifunctional additive package that improves extreme pressure, antifoam, anti-shock and solubilizing properties.

Rosneft Metalway oils are designed for use in plain slideways and slideway bearings of machine tools and in hydraulic systems, including special machines of various types, where uniformity of slow movements, accuracy and sensitivity of adjustment movements of tables, supports, sliders, headstocks, stands and other units are required, and also where it is necessary to reduce the level of the friction factor in static and dynamic conditions, as well as for transmissions of the lead screw-nut of machine tools with programmed control of particularly high precision.

Approvals and specifications

Viscosity grades: ISO VG: 68, 100, 220
Specifications and approvals: DIN 51524, Part 2 (HLP), DIN 51517 Part 3 (CLP, CGLP) Fives P 47, P-50, Hurco

• High lubricating capacity ensures stability and absence of shocks when moving the working bodies of machine tools even at high loads and low speeds, preserving the high quality of the part finishing and allowing high-precision operations;
• Excellent adhesion to vertical plain slideways;
• Active anti-corrosion and demulsifying components of the oil provide increased protection against corrosion, even in waterlogged conditions, extending the service life of machine tools;
• Resistant to washout and compatible with various types of foreign and domestic cutting lubricants;
• Environmentally friendly, because the oill does not contain zinc and heavy metal salts.
